What are the best aspects of this product?
SendGrid is cost-effective for large databases. You can easily manage bounces and unsubscribes. Testing is flexible and easy. The support agents are prompt and responsive and resolve your issues quickly.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The new marketing newsletter feature is expensive. We already subscribe to Marketo and we cannot afford to pay also for SendGrid’s new system. The features look good but since we have a large database, it would cost too much for our budget. Another thing, the app can provide a list of people who perform various actions with the emails such as clicking on links. We should also be able to export a list of users who open the emails.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We use SendGrid to send a biweekly newsletter more than 600,000 leads. The system offers an affordable method to contact such a large subscriber base. Another advantage is the app integrates easily through APIs enabling us to utilize it for transactional emails.
