What are the best aspects of this product?
For our service and maintenance vendors, the Service Channel streamlined our billing process and we are able to manage our costs and budgets better, to accrue accurately, and the process billings more efficiently too.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Communication could be better. The requirements needed, file specs etc are not clearly defined, so the rollout of the program is difficult. When we are going through the areas to improve, the process to customize the files are with significant cost. Enhancing the process would be a thing to support, meaning that we would be able to spend more, which results in larger profit margins.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Because we are working through capital transactions, through the files we need more details to flow. We have vendors that are split and bill by paper via Service Channel. This means that in the file to you with transactions are not SC billings. Even though I have explained that to the team, they continue to ask questions about the rejections each week when they are extras and will not match, which means that exceptions are not flexible.
