What are the best aspects of this product?

I have found that SharePoint is one of the best document management solution that helps in improving the collaboration in the enterprise. It is flexible and easy to use tool. It offers capabilities for creating and managing taxonomies. I like that we can easily build the metadata based on those taxonomies. It allows us to better manage the content types and metadata in an organized way. The enterprise search is powerful tool that is great for improving the content quality.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The UI needs some improvements but on the other side it has great amount of features and capabilities. They could make the UI better with latest updates.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It helps us to organize the internal processes and to improve the communication and awareness among the team members. And this is what we were searching for. It helps us to solve lot of enterprise problems that are related to decentralize content management and everyone can stay in touch with leads and reduce the operational costs.
