What are the best aspects of this product?
I was able to understand how to use Shopify POS without breaking a sweat because of its intuitive interface. At times when I did not understand how to execute an action on the platform, I only had to get in touch with the product's customer care team. Additionally, the hardware's accompaniments provide us with the whole spectrum of retail experience, from searching the inventory to customizing our receipts.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It would be great if Shopify POS could be enhanced with additional tools for customer data gathering. This need came up when I needed to generate a pre-order via the web app. This meant that the customer had to input his credit card details in the e-store in person instead of simply swiping his card through the reader.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
In-store and personal selling are made seamless by Shopify POS since it keeps a record of our entire inventory in its system. In the backend, the software empowers our staffs to track their sales performance to help them improve. Aside from that, Shopify POS integrates with Shopify's reporting suite so that we can identify which items in our inventory are the most popular.
