What are the best aspects of this product?

It has become an information center for my sales needs. I am able to know everything that is taking place from who bought what, how much they bought and at what time. All activities are recorded and stored into the system for analysis and better execution of the sales strategy. It helps me to send a request to ask for data about a customer and manage all information on the same platform. This for of data management and analysis proves to be productive as I can monitor all the contacts in the system for customers and activities they engage in in terms of sales.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It has its drawbacks despite being a reliable tool in managing customer and sales data within the business. When you want to retrieve customer data, it can be slow when you do it in bulk. You thus have to do it in small sizes to speed up the process. This also goes for when you want to export that data after retrieving it from the system. It can be slow if the data is too bulky for the system to process. This can be frustrating if you want the job to be done fast and you have a lot of customer data to be processed. It would be better if they increased the speed at which the retrieved data is exported for efficiency.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Our field sales team is able to key in data which is updated on the system for one to analyze and view. They are tasked with the role of managing different initiatives which include customer sales activities and opportunities, customer information and revenue in general. All this is made possible thank to the Oracle Siebel CRM. As a result, you can easily view the trend of each initiative and what you can do to make sure you improve performance of those initiatives which are not performing well. This in return helps to increase sales as you can target your strategies on the most profitable initiatives within your business.
