What are the best aspects of this product?
The booking webpage can be customised with your branding and you have 14 days to test out all the features and decide which ones you really need. The basic package allows for those just starting out a professional page for bookings that also allows receiving payments. I researched a lot, and for the price tag, SimplyBook.me offers the best deal with many great features.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
In order to activate the Membership custom feature, you need to activate two other custom features, meaning that if you want this function, then it will require all the custom features included in the Basic Package.
I still need to figure out whether there is an option to advertise services at a discounted rate without coupons and such.
When creating packages, it would be nice to be able to give the option to clients to choose the frequency of the services included in the package, such as every week or every two weeks, and instalment payments to match. The platform has a 'Pay Later' option, which gives you the opportunity to agree payment terms with each individual client if this would be necessary with payments being made outside SimplyBookMe.
I have not yet discovered whether it is possible to move appointments already made in case such changes are needed. But overall, I rate the platform highly and new features and improvements seem to be rolled out regularly.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
More flexible options for payment in instalments.
The possibility to add discounts to products/services and have them advertised/displayed on the page like that, without the need for coupons.
More customizable News/Blog - such as the possibility to embed videos and/or add images.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I no longer need to build a separate website, as I can include all the relevant information and the ability for clients to book my services and pay for them through this page.
