What are the best aspects of this product?
We all enjoyed the training that we attended regarding how to use the product. We thought that it was going to be difficult, but everything was easy to remember and implement. We spend a lot of time practicing how to change the settings and creating processes that would make our tasks more effective.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I am hoping that the support team can undergo more training sessions in terms of product knowledge. There are several instances where they gave me the wrong resolution or recommendation regarding specific issues. This is something that I need them to address seriously because it dramatically affects our CSAT scores. They should also look into why the RMM resource works poorly in some assets wherein it's expected to give the same output to all computers that would not compromise the speed and security of specific devices.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
SolarWind offers multiple solutions to each problem that we encounter at the office. It can address large network issues, identify and fix system issues, assign tickets, do asset inventory, and the list goes on. Using an RMM tool saves us time in troubleshooting issues that can be done through remote login access. It gives us constant reminders whenever it's time to update software and conduct regular scans to ensure that all units are free from viruses.
