The only sacrifice you have to make is time. Spiceworks is free, which makes it affordable and thus reliable. You can utilize the features and resources it has by pairing it with Spiceworks suite. It makes ticketing simple and manageable when you connect with your office devices.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The free tool has limited features as you cannot manage multiple helpdesks under one roof. You have to install for each department, but since it is free, there is no loss. Its performance did not meet our expectations. However, the Spiceworks suite network scanner makes everything look good.

For example, when you come upon an issue or ticket that was resolved before, you can back track the solution and use it to resolve the current issue.
