What are the best aspects of this product?
Running an IT department and team is easy with the Spiceworks tool. It helps to track request from customers through ticketing. Without it, it will be hectic when you want to keep track of everyday requests let alone solve them. This tool makes everything easy, and all this for free.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
If you want to manage multiple help desks such as maintenance and IT, you have to install each tool for each department. It would be convenience if all these departments would use a single installation of the software such that you can operate it from a single location. However, this is a minor issue as the product works great.

For any helpdesk issues, the tool is reliable in tracking them. The ticketing part is ideal and offers a platform on which we can manage all issues with ease. Also, Spiceworks helps to track how employees use in their computers. For example, software tracking where you can know the software your staff has installed. This allows you to address your staff on which software applications to install in computers as some are not secure to manage or store sensitive information.
