Subversion is a great tool for encouraging team members to be more accountable for their work. With it tracking who has made the latest changes, we can easily pinpoint who the involved party is. Plus, it is also good for retracing steps and changes done to a document.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I think it's great that we can restrict access to specific files and folders, but this restriction system often gets messed up. Not only that, but the preview section isn't showing properly too. uBerSVN can take a while to load as well. It often needs a hard refresh for it to run smoothly.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Subversion helps keep our codes and files organized. There is lesser need for code merging with this in our aid too. Keeping versions of older projects is beneficial as well.
