Pretty basic but very useful.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I stumbled upon Subversion out of convenience because somebody was already using this at work. I love how it comes with a manual that is rather complete and exhaustive in a good way. I use this for its most basic features. It's a free solution, TortoiseSVN, it is quite great too.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It's not really my problem, but I don't like how it's a requirement to set up a service for this. It's just bothersome that we have to go through said admin for us to file our tickets. For now, it doesn't do diffs for binary files though.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

This helps our team collaborate better and share files and codes among ourselves. It's pretty standard, but it does a great job of keeping track of all our files and their versioning history.
