What are the best aspects of this product?
I am a huge fan of their Employee Central, but this compensation module is also admirable.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Moving PM forms to V12 in this software will limit your configuration possibility,and the administrative tools are not as good as the ones of P11. I'm not pleased with the Compensation integration either, that somehow 'shook' my positive picture of Employee Central. What could be better is to upload forms as data files, you will have more configuration power.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Automation in general.The routemap and the PM module where exceptionally useful outside Performance and Compensation, and we used them for most general HR processes. One thing they do very well is to create and route electronic Employee Change forms to approvers.
