What are the best aspects of this product?
The interface is amazing once you get the hang of the product. After you know how it works and create your first survey, the system shows you how the responses are flowing in through a microcopy. This helps you to monitor the progress of the survey you have sent out. It also allows you to upload contact list in the system with information that will help you to carry out surveys. Apart from that, you can email those surveys and set up notifications when the responses come in and thus ease of monitoring of the results. If it is a closed survey, once the survey is done, you can filter the results by questions to compare and make the best decision moving forward. The customer support is also highly responsive which adds to its efficiency.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Despite the product working fine, it does not favor us in terms of the price. We only did one survey and paid for a full month subscription. It would be better if they had a special custom-plan for users who have few surveys so that you can get value for your money. Also, the interface is not that friendly when you are getting started. The free version, although free, it has most of its features locked, due to its free nature. This makes it difficult to learn how those features work for free which means you have to switch to the paid version. This can be time consuming and frustrating.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We were able to find out how our users viewed or rated our product. From the surveys we conducted, we could design them in a way that we were able to establish why some users gave negative responses and thus conclusive results. From that, we could analyze that data and decide on a way forward in terms of making the product better. SurveyGizmo allowed us to use the already available contact list in our database, and send surveys in the form of emails. From there, they can get links, where once they take the surveys, the results of each user can be updated next to the contact list of every user and thus improve our analysis of data.
