What aspects are problematic or could work better?
1: The sales reps are very aggressive and sleezy. They will mislead you and introduce last minute minimums. Given that they are an enterprise company they don't really care for small businesses.
2: The support during trial period is limited and not very useful. You are on you own for the most part to figure it out.
3: The learning curve is very high despite all the online resources.
4: Building table relationships between tables causes duplication. You have to do a lot of data cleaning and normalization before you can actually do a report.
5: Trusted authentication doesn't work after tremendous effort.
6: Tableau server is very clunky, requires a lot of ram and takes forever to startup.
7: Slowness. Overall the experience with the reports is slow
8: Printing reports and saving them is not an easy option.
9: Compared to powerbi the desktop is not as userfriendly. It took us 1 hour to learn powerbi but it took us over 2 weeks with the some help to figure out formulas in tableau
10: Creating reports using R or phyton is not an option.
