What are the best aspects of this product?

It helps us to connect with multiple data sources including CSV files, Statistical files, access and server databases like Amazon Aurora, Hadoop and Tableau Server. I like that I can import and visualize every kind of data by using selection of built-in charts, graphics, mathematical models and geographical templates. The drag and drop feature makes it easy to measure data files.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It can produce some delay in building the reports and this depends on your network capacity, server specifications, local computer configuration and connection to a server database.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I’m using this software to analyze High School graduation rates and to know how it corresponds to SAT scores. I can track certain trends and niches through reports and stories that are generated by Tableau.
