A great tool to automatize tasks, cut the paperwork, share and store efficiently information, automatize processes.
It is completely flexible yet you do not need to program it (usually you need to make some code to adapt it to your needs).
The easiness to adapt it to your needs. Somebody in the company tells you 'I need this feature' and 10-20 minutes later, it works.
The assistance team is really efficient.
The easiness to connect it with a website.

The interface looks a bit oldish - not an issue for me.

Every time you are using an excel file shared by several users, and every time you generate a document, Teamdesk could help you.
We use it for the following:
- CRM (all commercial offers, all invoices, many automatic mails to customers, lots of score cards)
- Project management (purchasing orders, internal payment validation, automatic processing of emails and storage of faxes)
- Travel and expenses generation / validation
- Input by customer on our website of various info (they go directly into team desk)
I have a second occupation as a professor. I use Teamdesk there to:
- collect assignments from my students
- distribute gradings and solutions
- distribute various documents
