What are the best aspects of this product?
TeamDesk is a phenomenal online database. It is 100% customizable to your company's specific needs. The only limitation on the database is your own willingness to learn how to you use it. However, it is extremely easy to learn how to use.
For my business, I find the integration of document automation and the database to be extremely useful. I am able to create templates that are specific to my business which then autopopulate with information from the database. I use this for marketing letters, invoice, client update letters, notices, etc.
Additionally, TeamDesk works as an excellent portal to your cloud based document management system. Most document management systems are clunky when it comes to showing basic information about the client/customer/file that you are working with. TeamDesk is excellent at providing this information and providing a link to your document management folders and specific documents.
These are just a few of the things that I use it for. I really cannot emphasize enough how excellent this product is. I do not generally write reviews, but I felt that TeamDesk is so good that it deserved one. Whatever your business, you should give it a try. They offer a free trial and help setting up your database. I am confident that you will find it useful. And, if you put in a little effort learning the system, you will be able to build a custom database to meet your business needs at literally a fraction of the cost of other online database software.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Honestly, I cannot think of anything. TeamDesk provides database functionality as well as I could reasonably imagine.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
Right now, TeamDesk can only store documents up to 20 MB. That is OK, but it prevents you from using TeamDesk as a document management system. I would like to see the storage increased so that I could ditch my current document management system and just use TeamDesk for everything. However, TeamDesk is a database program, not a document management system. So, it is not really fair of me to complain about this issue. It is just something that I would like.
