What are the best aspects of this product?
I was using a more expensive EHR that did not have online scheduling and paying for a separate online scheduling solution as well. TherapyNotes has saved me hundreds of dollars. The interface is much easier to navigate than our old system, and unlike our previous solution we aren't locked into a multi-year contract. Reports really help me look at revenue and spot problems quickly, and I can print a statement for a client right in session if desired. Easy to look things up in the electronic chart. I love it!
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Honestly, it's hard for me to come up with any. We have found that it's a little more difficult to bill Federal employees and military clients now than before we switched (we end up resubmitting claims only for them) and I'm not sure whether this is a Therapy Notes issue or not.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
When I block the whole day off as being out of the office, it puts a banner at the top for that day. It would be easier to see if it was a big block for that day from open to close. I can do this by saying the specific hours I will be gone, but it's one more step.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Online scheduling - much better than the old software
Billing is much easier to do now and it's easier for me to see a client\'s account and their chart notes
