What are the best aspects of this product?
We use to have Micros for our POS system. Did a switch to Toast in late 2017 had it about 1 year. The hardware of Toast is more advance. The screen is slimmer than Micros. Also the tablet is amazing. The cloud base is also really nice because I can check the sale for any of my locations on my phone.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Software 7/1 0 rating, Maybe because Toast is a newer company they haven't figured out all the right calculation for receipts, yet. When you are adding gratuity and tax together the calculation is wrong. Called the support and it has been 6 months already, the support team still hasen't figured it out how to fix it. So every time we have to add gratuity to a tab, the restaurant loses money because of the wrong calculation.

Credit card Fees 5/10 Not the cheapest out there. And you don't have any option but to only use Toast. Heartland has better rates but can't use them. Also the credit card reader is not chip compliance.
