What are the best aspects of this product?

I've been using UltraEdit for more than a decade. I'm very happy with how their team functions in including features. They also work to make sure the editor does things quick and effectively. Pre-built formatting templates are available for coding languages. Project tools and customizations can be made according to your organization's standards or for your own liking.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I'm having a hard time coming up with a negative. Everything that I wanted over a decade ago have now been included. There's a whole lot more that I've yet to think about in using.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I've been making use of the tool for pl/sql and sql purposes. I'm also using it to sniff out certain characters in different text docs. These also include EDI and XML. I constantly utilize its find-and-repace in refractoring code. This includes having the ability seek all files within the directory.
