What are the best aspects of this product?

I like how UltraEdit is a lot simpler to utilize with Linux. It's able to integrate with UltraCompare in a seamless manner. I like being able to make macros and customizing a certain layout. It functions smoothly with its search-and-replace functionality. UI is speedy.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I like its file accessiblity and automatic backup. I may end up dwelling deeper in Linux-specific programming. But nevertheless, this version functions incredibly well. The Edit functionality comes with a lot of useful utilities. It's smooth in commenting/uncommenting one whole block.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I can edit js scrip for web design purposes simply. The page had to be finished in several languages. These include Russian and Japanese. While I'm not a native speaker of those languages, I'm able to search, replace, and keep files updated even if they happen to labelled in foreign characters. This made it all possible in meeting our deadline for production.
