What are the best aspects of this product?

It's very simple to use. Very fast. Improvement is consistent. Syntax highlighting is the best. There's plenty of functionality that are rarely used. But they're nice to have when you need them in resolving an issue. I've had their license for more than a couple decades now. On certain instances where I need support, they're always there in doing things efficiently and swiftly.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Nothing to really hate. UltraEdit does exactly what I want it to do. One big reason why I constantly use it.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

When it comes to ETL work, I'm frequently given a CSV file from someone who only sees data within Excel. What they can see is isn't something I'd often get. UltraEdit is helping me look into what's going on within the file. So would any other text editor. But I've yet to find something like it that allows me to set up column widths of a CSV file for adequate inspection of data.
