PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

It can be accessed on desktop, mobile devices, and tablets. And whatever device you choose, the software works seamlessly and easy to use. I love this because I am able to bounce between those devices smoothly throughout the day. Another great thing about the platform is that it is web-based. Meaning to say, you can access it whenever and wherever you are as long as you have an internet connection. I love this because it lets me work from home as well as while on the go. Lastly, I love the automated reminders as well as confirmations - features that make my job easier.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I find the checkout procedure quite cumbersome. And this becomes a problem when many clients check out on close succession. It somehow affects the speed of our operations. For instance, the app asks the credit card type used by the customer. I know it's like a minor thing but still, it adds seconds or sometimes minutes in the process. The app also asks the type of customer (whether new, returning, et ). This isn't even an optional question! I have a busy, small salon and sometimes when there are many customers and they check out at the same desk, those small things I have mentioned slow down the salon's check out process. And it's not good for business. Nevertheless, this software still gives what my business need.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I am a solopreneur and don't have a front desk employee so Vagaro has been a huge help. It helps me get the job done. The automated confirmations as well as reminders have been very useful. I don't have to spend too much time sending reminders manually to clients. The best thing, I am able to personalize the messages that accompany the automated texts or emails.
