What are the best aspects of this product?
I rank it quite high on the list of successful shopping cart solutions, giving only slight priority to Magento for its sexy open-source appearance. There are many things I consider to be excellent about this product: it is kind of robust, but that doesn't affect its speed and functionality; my contact with Austin support showed me that they do care about customers, and they are knowledgeable enough to handle every problem; they don't make false promises, and they will tell you everything as it is; quality beats Magento with miles, unless you compare looks, I already said that; and finally...we've been using it for 3 years, and we never had a reason to complain. How does that sound?
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
OK, let's name few things that are not exactly mind blowing: A/B testing is absent; product prices are not dynamic they are calculated on the basis of an alghorithm, so you won't be able to make reductions and special promotions; Web 2.0 is just a myth (unfortunatelly); for the sake of truth, some competitors have niftier features.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
It's not gonna sound that modest, but it is the truth: we are running a successful ecommerce website with an annual revenue of plus $1M. Our number of customers increased to 20K, and we're displaying/selling over 500 products. Note that this was when we started selling, we reached 1M out of the blue! Besides, there is no need of extra coding knowledge, which team doesn't like that?
