What are the best aspects of this product?
I like how WePay goes on about their partnerships. They've done an incredible job offering support to their partners through tech assistance, education, and a great platform that lets merchants make payment. The holistic approach of the software to risk is amazing. They understand that not all solutions are dependent on algorithms and will obviously entail a qualified exper for every decision being made. Whenever I make a decision that doesn't favor them, they're not afraid to say spill their opinion.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
There's a relatively small percentage of cards found in our merchant base that will likely be ignored when getting them processed via WePay. But such similar effort on the same card can be processed successfully by means of another gateway. This can be done right after being declined through WePay.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Our partnership involves resolving issues that small businesses run into with their merchant services. Today's small businesses aren't equally offered the same benefits afforded to bigger companies. This led to a stigma of predatory pricing, large reserve assessment, restricted support, confusing fees, and other barriers that make it hard to enter. WePay has a world class product that evenly pits the playing field for small businesses to effectively compete with bigger companies.
