What are the best aspects of this product?

Using Workplace By FB is something that my employees and I do not take for granted. I love that we have this application to work with each day to provide us with real-time updates from different departments. Upon logging in to the platform, you would notice that it has a good layout that is a lot similar to the typical Facebook account that we are using to connect with our friends on social media. This app allows us to use the messaging features as extensively as possible to keep in touch with the department leader and employees from different departments. Also, instead of using the traditional email and posting stuff on the company website, most of us prefer using Workplace by Facebook when browsing because the interface is much easier to use. This app is also highly recommended when planning for major company events such as family day, team building, strategic planning, corporate parties, etc. Lastly, this app itself is straightforward to manage because it doesn’t require a person to have the technical expertise to be able to use the product for work-related purposes. Overall it is effortless to use and handle at the same time.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The app itself works well in so many ways, so I don’t find anything wrong with using Workplace by Facebook to get my work done right on time. Although the app itself is not that perfect, it also comes with several drawbacks like too many notifications that are disrupting on my end. Also, they should upgrade their communication app because the quality of the video calls are sometimes too bad that we won’t be able to use it for our touch base meetings.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Using this app helped us solve a lot of problems in the office, and one of them is filling out the communication gaps between employees and their managers. With Workplace by Facebook, it is now possible to post mass updates on the actual account page, and everyone would be able to see the updates through their news feed and notifications. This app has also encouraged people to communicate more often with each other through chat, voice or video calls, or whatever works for them. Also, sharing files, pictures, and other documents are made more simple using this platform.
