One of the best mind-mapping software I have ever used

What are the best aspects of this product?

XMind is easy to use, and you don’t need much time to learn its keyboard shortcuts, mind-map application is easy to set up. I am even able to switch among multiple formats, create vertical and horizontal trees, fishbone diagrams, and other diagram modules. I’m using it for brainstorming and organizing my thoughts and ideas, to create outlines, work breakdown structures, org charts and etc. I can even connect this version I’m using with MS project and export to Power Point, Word and PDF documents in order to create interactive Web pages. Also, I like the presentations view because I’m able to present and walk-through a diagram to a large group or through web cast.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

If you want to use your mouse then be ready for multiple clicks because you cannot easily find specific button or menu item.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I’m using XMind for brainstorming and organizing my thoughts, it allows me to keep track of information while group-planning exercises are running, it helps me to create professional and easy to use diagrams for my own presentations and discussions.
