What are the best aspects of this product?
First and foremost it is really intuitive and very user-friendly for none techie people. Even in the early days when there was little documentation I could achieve most things by myself. When I did need support, it was generally to do a major customisation like add a new feature (I didn't have the coding skills to do it myself). I had used many CRMs prior to this and doing even simple customisations (like creating a new module) was a difficult task. Yetiforce comes with lots of built in features that other providers charge large sums of money for. I worked briefly for a company that used Salesforce which was an absolute nightmare for them. They were stuck with generic input screens that only partly met their needs and had major problems with record duplication. Yetiforce allows you to tailor modules to capture exactly what your company needs to operate. It also has tools to help prevent duplicates - particularly during import. I particularly love the dashboards/charts - a beautiful recent addition replacing the old style ones. Also love the way you can created colour coded filters in any module. Another incredible integration is the project management/gaant charts etc. and the booking system - absolutely brilliant!
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
There is nothing problematic, and when bugs are found by Yetiforce or their github community they are quickly addressed.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
Better bookkeeping (this module is work in progress and I believe in their future plans). Integrations with 3rd party accounting applications like Sage, Quickbooks etc. Also, new reports module.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We were able to capture exactly the information we needed as could incorporate new fields niche to our industry. The dashboards provide incredible overviews of company performance. Plus having a 360 degree view of a company, individual, project etc. streamlines business processes - being able to pull up a name and then see every document, file, email etc. for that person is priceless!
