Easy even for non-IT people to use and implement

What are the best aspects of this product?

ZAP is "AOT Aware". It provides us huge time savings when it comes to upgrades or updates to AX and having the schema available for use in the cube. It is also easy even for "non-IT" folks to quickly begin developing and deploying reports.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Some of the familiar nuances within tools like Excel, easy filtering, subtotaling, grouping etc., are more difficult to implement within analysis reports. Other than that, we have no major issues to report on this one.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We get to solve everything from margin analysis on products/customers to production cost variance and production output analysis. We can unlock the data locked in our AX system and make it actionable.
