What are the best aspects of this product?
I love the auto-integration between Zendesk Sell and Zendesk Support. I also find it that easy to add lead links from my Wordpress pages and other platforms. The program itself is incredibly well-designed too. I can easily access all the things I need from the dashboard and have the option to filter and organize my lists as I please.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I think Zendesk needs to strike a balance on the amount of freedom it gives to users. On the one hand, it gives us a great deal of freedom in some aspects. This level of self-governance seems to backfire, however, when in a large team setting. There has to be proper communication and paper trail for it to work. In some areas, it can be a bit too restrictive too. For example, the guidelines for sending bulk emails are not as clearcut as I need them to be.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Thanks to Zendesk Sell, we've been able to consolidate all of our customer details in a central database. It clearly defines the line between our leads and contacts, making it easy for us to launch separate campaign strategies for each bucket.
