What are the best aspects of this product?
Its pricing structure is reasonable enough for a small business. As a matter of fact, the Zoho People version we have is the free version. I happen to be the only individual in our small-sized organization that requires HR access so this turned out great. Zoho People lets segregate full-time employees from that of part-time workers, and both of these from my current contractors.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Its terminology can be a bit complex to comprehend initially. The whole thing appears to be a converted English version. It's understandable since the product itself isn't based in the U.S. There are some items that I'm still trying to be familiar with.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Tracking employees working in a small busienss. I've been a user of spreadsheets for a long while now. Thing is, we couldn't keep up (let alone afford) the "big picture" HR softwares out there. If you think about it, using those would be overkill for our limited number of employees.
