What are the best aspects of this product?
Very easy, very simple, and foremost: very flexible! I admire the streamlined project set-up, and the efficiency of time and bug tracking. We were comparing tools for quite a while, and the thing that led us to Zoho Projects were recurring tasks (I don't think you'll find them in any similar program!), as they are compulsory for our business.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
See, setting up new products is good, but it depends how deep you wanna dive. I have my dislikes regarding templates, carrying document folders and involving key users. Obviously, if you can't import users you can't have the entire team on board, and that's a disaster. Adding users is actually a disaster itself, especially if you have 100 projects and multiple user to add to each, as I do. Alphabetic order is simply non-existent. Another thing I mind is not being able to see and sort RTF comments: counting on recurring tasks is not enough, we need to carry on followers, and currently that's impossible.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We were using Central Desktop before, so Zoho Projects was quite a refreshment. The core is similar either way, that helped us undergo a painless transition. Overall, we're pleased to have chosen this affordable, stable, and robust manager for our projects.
