What are the best aspects of this product?

In terms of usability, it is easy to find your way around. It can help to save time and effort especially when you are teaching a small group of class. It helps you to share screens and switch between screens with ease as your students share items too on the other end. In one occasion, I showed a professor who is not tech savvy on how to use Zoom in addressing her students. She was able to pick up fast as it is simple. She was able to share a video with her students who in return would share what they had with her. For my case, I was able to collaborate and reach out to my students without much hustle. Apart from that, it is compatible with Google Calendar where you can schedule and link meetings with ease.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

From the time I started using this tool for my remote meetings, it has been exceptional. There are no major bugs that I came across and thus I like it as a whole. However, I have a problem with how much time you are given to use this tool for free. Once you go over the 40-munite mark, you have to subscribe to the product. This means that in order to use the free version, you have to keep your meetings as short as possible or simply subscribe to the paid version. All in all, it is worth the money if you hold everyday longer meetings on Zoom.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We have been able to increase the number of students we connect with online thanks to Zoom. It helps to make interaction with students easy. Since we have enrolled more students who take part in distance learning, we find it incumbent to meet them in person so that we can review their projects together. Since we started using Zoom, we can now do that remotely and thus no need to meet with them in person. This has made us more productive as our students are able to get all the materials they need to excel. It has allowed for personalized learning where student-teacher relationship is strong and projects can be completed according to instructions given over Zoom.
