What are the best aspects of this product?

It has become a tool that makes meetings easy to manage and hold. It does not matter where everyone is located as it is able to connect with everyone who is not in the room. You can even schedule a meeting using a link and send reminders to everyone who is supposed to be in that meeting. The interface is simple and friendly which makes the tool easy to use. You can address a group of people who are remotely located and explain a particular concept in detail. On top of that, you can record the entire meeting for reference at a later date or when you want to share it with someone or a group of people in a meeting.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Despite Zoom being a great tool when it comes to collaborating with your team, it lacks some few basic things that could be relevant. For example, you do not have control of how other users can manipulate the file you have shared on the screen. This means that they can draw on it or alter it the way they want. There should be a way to restrict on any changes by other users once you share the file on the screen. This would help keep the file original at all times. On top of that, you cannot control the camera or microphone n the other end of other users. Zoom does not offer a way for users to have a screen name which can be a drawback.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We are able to collaborate with other team members regardless of where they are. We can share our ideas in a more convenient way where each member will contribute as a required. Zoom has given us the best platform on which we can conduct training without much hustle. We are thus able to manage teams and problems remotely thanks to Zoom. It has allowed us to be more efficient in our work as there are no barriers to how we can assess projects being undertaken by groups. As a result, we can discuss solutions at a virtual level and impact the right knowledge in the form of training without having to meet the group in person.
