Amazon Payments Review

PROS: Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love the deals that Amazon Pay offers regularly. It helps that this is a pretty straightforward payment platform too. I’ve always felt secure in using it and all of my payments have been successful so far.

CONS: Right now, Amazon Pay only has a limited reach. It cannot carry out transactions beyond its area of operations yet. I also wish that the developers would come up with an app that is independent to its parent solution, Amazon.

PROS: I prefer Amazon Pay to Amazon FBA because its reports present the facts straight and the presentation makes it easier to understand. The columns with the details such as total, net, and more are clearly delineated as well, adding to the user-friendliness of the solution. Above all, Amazon Pay has helped us increase the sales we make via our website.

CONS: Amazon Pay is a great addition to any business as long as you act quickly on chargebacks and honor guarantees. It also helps if you are speedy in your responses to customers' queries.

PROS: I think what I like the most about this payment platform is that the features it offers make the cost worth it. I get plugins for e-commerce as well as an API that's customized. I get quite a lot of integrations, and these integrations are easy to do as well. It has really made the payment process move more quickly, and at a cost that isn't too hard to bear for a business. It's so great that we even use it daily.

CONS: There are some minor things that I could complain about, but really they're not that big of a deal in the bigger picture. I don't have any complaints worthy of being brought up.

PROS: Amazon Pay is helpful in the buying and selling processes because of its user-friendly dashboard and tools that are a cut above than Amazon FBA. Moreover, it is a safe way to transact with clients. Other than that, the app has great reports that I can read and digest easily despite the details.

CONS: So far, there is nothing I do not like about Amazon Pay because it has been advantageous due to its stringent security and easy integration.

PROS: Pay With Amazon generates intuitive invoices which can be sent to the customers for payment. It also allows us to enable subscription payments, accept donations and membership dues. Marketing-related features are also an added advantage. The good thing about the service is that the transaction fees are set on per market standards with a processing fee of just 2.9% and nominal authorization fees.

CONS: As per Amazon’s reserve policy, funds are held for an observation period of 14 days for new accounts. This cause quite a delay in payments.Some users even reported that it has held their funds for 90 days or longer and freezes accounts without prior notice. Personally, I haven't experienced the same issues yet nor have I heard anyone experiencing the same, so it works fine on our end at this time.

PROS: Amazon Pay is a huge help to people who belong to the middle economic class because of cashback and discounts. This applies to any transaction such as bills or POS payments. Apart from that, the app is a boon because it allows this set of consumers to afford branded items.

CONS: Amazon Pay does not work with other applications like IRCTC

PROS: The best thing about this is the convenience it gives. I just need to have the program loaded with the amount needed and transactions push through, and I sometimes even get discounts and cashbacks. I don't even need to have wallets or credit cards with me anymore. Buying stuff has just become so much easier.

CONS: I think they should set a higher limit, as the current one is at 10,000. I can imagine this being a hurdle for people who will be ordering bigger or more expensive products. This would be really something to consider for future versions of this software.

PROS: I have been using Amazon for about 8 years now and this company is definitely heading in the right direction, especially with Pay With Amazon. Their technology and inspiring insights just keep getting better year after year with new and innovative idea coming out. The ease of use the service provides is simply beneficial to everyone.

CONS: The customer support line could use some improvement. I am also not a big fan of the GUI screen and would like that to be more clear and to the point with what you are trying to do there.

PROS: I highly recommend this tool. Not only is it easy to use, but you can also be sure that your payment transactions will go through also. All this is thanks to the 100% buyer protection guarantee imposed by Amazon. There are always promo codes (for redbus and justtickets to name a few) and gift cards available so you can save big too! I’ve been doing less and fewer cash transactions thanks to the convenience that Amazon Pay has to offer.

CONS: As a consumer, I don’t really have any qualms about this tool. However, I am also a merchant and this tool can be a little pricey for me. I’d like to be able to offer more payment options for my clients, but I’m not able to do so because of the limitations of Amazon Pay.

PROS: Both I and my customers like how convenient this tool is. Thanks to them already having Amazon accounts, having this as a payment option allows them to easily pay for what they want simply by using their already existing Amazon account. On my end, I really love how I get the money deposited in my account in three days, at the most. This allows me to continue filling orders and ensures that the business keeps going without sudden shortages in cash.

CONS: I would really like it if they could lower the processing fees, especially if the orders aren't that big anyway.

PROS: I’ve always had a hard time finding payment processing platforms to accept my international debit card. This was why I found myself pleasantly surprised that Amazon Payment recognized and accepted it. I’ve been using this regularly since then and all my transactions have all gone by without hitches, so far. The special discounts and perks that one can get aren’t too bad either.

CONS: The movement of money seems to only be one way: out. There is no way for me to transfer money from other accounts to mine.

PROS: First of all, I really want to say that using Amazon Pay does not give me as much anxiety as when I give out my card details on other platforms. With it, I’m sure that my information will be safe and protected. I also feel prioritized when I’m carrying out transactions through Amazon Pay, which I like. Check-ins and checkouts are also very easy to carry out too. I don’t have to go back and forth to check what my coupon code is (if I do have one) because it automatically applies at checkout. I love this tool so much that I want others to experience it too. This is probably why I send out gift cards so much.

CONS: I love everything about this payment tool. There’s nothing I would want to change about it.

PROS: Amazon is everywhere, and more often than not customers already have all their credit card and billing information on there. When we started using this, it really just made payments so much easier for our customers. They really don't have to do anything more than have an Amazon account, and it has really helped us out when it comes to sales because the process is just much more convenient for customers.

CONS: One thing I wish was better is the speed of clearing the payments. There have been times when I've had to wait for as long as two weeks for the payments to come in. Obviously, that's not optimal especially if I may need that money immediately. I think if the transactions reach a certain threshold, or when the user has been using the tool for a certain amount of time, next day transfer should be made available to them. That's going to be an improvement that will take this to the next level.

PROS: Pay With Amazon's SDK gives you both the speed of implementation of something really fast and the possibility of implementing the service with a huge amount of customization that you can set up. Its openness for customization provides users the things they might need down the road in order to give their customers the best experience possible. This helps cut the impact of the different providers which may adversely affect the business.

CONS: Its usage is not as widespread as that of PayPal unfortunately. Even though Amazon is a leader in e-commerce, still not everyone around trusts it. Moreover, it is somehow hard to get to the implementation part if you are outside the US, but it's pretty easy once you get used to it and you start implementing it as a payment solution.

PROS: Pay With Amazon is a straightforward, easy, quick, and trustworthy way to pay for any merchandise I'm looking to purchase. Also, they've added the ability to track what purchases you made using their service right in Amazon.com. I honestly wish it was used in more places. Outside of grocery items, at least 75% of my purchases are through Amazon, so I trust the company heavily. Whenever I look to make a purchase and I see Amazon as an option, it'll always be the first option I pick.

CONS: It's pretty difficult to think of anything I dislike about it. It does exactly what you need, which is to use the payment options you have in Amazon to pay for purchases. And it does the job rather well.

PROS: I haven't been using Pay With Amazon for that long but so far, I have no problems or issues in using it. It is easy to use, with very clear website that show me what I need to know easily, and payments always arrive on time. The best part is that is there are no high fees to be mindful of when using the service. It's a good feeling to know that you're getting much value for your money.

CONS: The only thing I would say I dislike is the 5-7 wait period for your withdrawal to reach your bank account. Some other payment options take 24 hours and that would be preferable. However, the money is still getting to my bank I can't complain too much.

PROS: The biggest draw for me is how very easy it is to integrate Pay With Amazon into everyday transactions. This assumes, of course, that you already have an Amazon Seller's or Merchant account. I can't speak with regards to how easy it would be for someone who is just now setting up an Amazon Payments account as far as enrollment is concerned. In any case, if you already have an Amazon account and have multiple payment methods stored with Amazon, I highly recommend this product.

CONS: When I first got Amazon Payments they had to verify my bank account with micro-transactions, and that took awhile and was a bit of a pain. Also, when I first became a Merchant their was a 30 day pending period before I could transfer my sales to my bank. The policy was understandable, and okay by me because it helped reassure me that it was a safe and secure service. I don't know if they do this anymore though.
