Ardoq is a visual documentation platform that helps various organizations and businesses of all sizes document their processes, systems, infrastructures, capabilities, and strategies. Through the aid of dynamic and interactive visualizations and diagrams, users will be able to gain an in-depth knowledge and analysis of their processes and systems. Ardoq uses a set of built-in diagrams and visualizations that enable users to clearly view their processes, systems, infrastructures, and all the things that make their organization or team function. These diagrams are automatically generated based on the data they input. Also, once they make changes to the data, those changes will be instantly reflected in the diagrams and visualizations.

These diagrams and visualizations are also called views. Views can show interconnected process steps, text descriptions of processes and systems, relationships or links among processes or components, specific groupings of relationships or references, and tags that are used to label components and references.

As an example, a sales process can have different components such as customer visits website, search for a product, add to cart, select a payment option, and ship order. These components are actually all the steps included in this particular business process. One type of view or diagram available in the platform is process flow. Process flow shows the relationships between these steps.

In the example mentioned earlier, there is a component or step that introduces a decision point. This step is the one that involves the selection of payment option, wherein a customer can choose different payment options such as paying through a credit card or invoice. Thus, using arrows,  the diagram will show the connection of these two payment options with that particular step.

Ardoq is using conditional formatting filters. These filters are used to highlight parts of a diagram. Users can set them based on custom field values, component types, and tags. These filters are using color codes. Thus, the color of some components or processes in the diagram will be different in relation to the other components.

Meanwhile, Ardoq has a rich text editor that allows users to add images and files to the text descriptions of components shown in diagrams and visualizations. For instance, if they are documenting an application, they can use this editor to include images or videos to show and explain the services provided by such application.

The diagrams and visualizations in Ardoq can also be shared through presentations. Users will be able to add slide titles and descriptions to their presentations. With this feature, they can show their analysis and conclusion with the members of their team or organization. Another way to share presentations is by embedding them into the tools or applications that the team or organization is using.
