Asigra Cloud Backup Review

PROS: This is one of the best cloud-backup software. All you need to do is to install the interface so you can create an interaction with your backup files. The system sends the whole file, this way it saves bandwidth. The software is easy to use, the interface is simple and intuitive. I believe that you would find this software useful and simple.

CONS: Some event log errors are cryptic. It would be great if there is an option to restore various extensions when restoring file types. Also, it would be great if there was more community engagement. I cannot find other resources for support besides its helpdesk team.

PROS: I’m always amazed of what this program offers. There are great capabilities to backup everything you need from Enterprise servers to Desktops or mobile devices. It offers limitless functionalities. They have improve the functionality code. I like that Asigra develops its own functionalities instead of buying them. I like its recover features.

CONS: They could make more robust the historical reporting tool.

PROS: This tool is stable and robust. There are few programs that offer security we need. Asigra offers great tools for DR tests, backing up and restoring data. Its support team is great and helpful. Whenever we have some issues they provide us with great support to solve the problem. This team has great features add forum where you can find lot of requested items.

CONS: The reporting on storage trend growth is not user-friendly. Also, the install process and setting up the backup can be overwhelmed for newbies, but with great training they could easily start using the program.

PROS: Asigra offers great set of features. I like that this software doesn’t require downloading of software agent on the client’s device. There is an ability to backup data locally or to transfer the information off-site to predefined data center. Other backup solutions offer one or the other but never both. There is no device that Asigra can’t backup. All you have to do is to use the platform and management software.

CONS: You may face language issues if you do not speak English, German or Chinese. This tool has limited product localization.

PROS: There are many other tools that offer one specific item like Windows environment or VMWare environments. Thankfully, Aigra offers real end-to-end solution. It support multiple operating systems and app from android and iOS, laptop, desktops and Oracle environments.

CONS: When new users start using this software it may look a bit difficult or complex, but once you learn how this system works, everything becomes easy.

PROS: Asigra is wonderful backup software. It is easy to setup and it is intuitive software. I used other backup solutions but this one is one of the best when it comes to managing service provider. I like that there is no need of agent on every server. The tech support is extremely helpful and responsive.

CONS: In my opinion, the event log needs some improvements. I think that the error that shows up in the log doesn’t make any sense. When it comes to small network pipes then the backup doesn’t work great. Some of our customers don’t have high bandwidth so their backups may run for days when there is huge amount of data and in the end the backup process fails.

PROS: The whole backup restore process within version 11 is smooth. I am able to restore files to my customers at any time. Its support team is responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. I’m very satisfied from level 1 training. Its staff makes me feel that I’m part of their family. Offsite file restore is quick and easy process. I can easily set up customer backups.

CONS: Version 11 lacks snapshots, but they have said that they would implement this option in the last version. Also, it is complicated to restore email from full store backup. I had to purchase support credits. I would like to pay for full year support.

PROS: Asigra is great software for multiple environments, starting from physical, virtual servers; endpoint devices to windows, Linux, MacX server, mobile devices and ipads. This solution protects lot of platforms and services, virtual machines, Salesforce data. It provides secure, reliable and easy to manage solution. It offers Recovery and Restoration features so we are ensured that our data is safe and accessible. We love its Security and Encryption methods, it encrypts information by using FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm. We are able to schedule and automate backup processes.

CONS: We need physical machine recovery that would take no more than 2hrs, this tool offers Virtual Machines for recovery but we need the other type. Also, it would be great if they could implement Geolocation and remote wipe and roll back after each disaster.

PROS: Great solution for keeping track of the backup and recovery items. I now that I have added an important value to my business and I have improved the security and compliance concerns. We have migrated to M Office 365 and we managed to integrate Asigra and to ensure that all our data is in safe place. The software supports backup of every device whether it is mobile phone, tablets, Pc or laptop.

CONS: To be honest, I cannot really say anything negative about this software.

PROS: This solution offers one of the best channel programs. There are great resources for supporting sales and marketing effort. We are able to provide long-term business value and this helps us to create strong commercial positions. I really like its social media integrations and it connects me with the right people within Asigra community.

CONS: There are not much dislikes about this tool. They hold conferences in Europe but we are glad that we could access more of its technology and team.
