Keeping in mind companies have their own business needs, it is only rational they avoid deciding on an all-in-one, ”best” system. Needless to say, it would be futile to come across such a software solution even among sought-after software systems. The best thing to undertake can be to set down the varied key aspects that require scrutiny such as key features, price plans, skill capability of the users, business size, etc. After which, you must double down on your research thoroughly. Have a look at these Auvik evaluations and explore the other solutions in your shortlist in detail. Such all-encompassing research can make sure you drop unsuitable apps and pay for the one which offers all the function your business requires.

If you are considering Auvik it might also be sensible to analyze other subcategories of IT Management Software gathered in our database of B2B software reviews.
Organizations have diverse needs and requirements and no software application can be just right in such a scenario. It is futile to try to find a perfect off-the-shelf software app that fulfills all your business wants. The intelligent thing to do would be to modify the solution for your specific wants, staff member skill levels, budget, and other aspects. For these reasons, do not hasten and pay for well-publicized popular applications. Though these may be widely used, they may not be the ideal fit for your specific wants. Do your research, investigate each short-listed platform in detail, read a few Auvik IT Management Software reviews, call the vendor for clarifications, and finally choose the application that provides what you want.

PROS: Auvik allows me to keep an eye on the networks that I am in charge of. It offers a coherent plot of the said networks so I can manage it from one platform. The autosave and control management features are especially helpful too.
CONS: Auvik provides a comprehensive and detailed map of my network, but the display takes a while to load because I have such a convoluted network. I think that this issue can be avoided altogether with an upgrade to my work devices though.

Ease of Use
PROS: Auvik is easy enough for a nonspecialist to use; and powerful enough for an expert to maximize its robust features. It allows us to quickly address customer queries regarding their device bandwidth and consumption. Invoicing using the platform is easy too.
CONS: For some reason, Auvik has stopped introducing significant product updates in recent years. Still, you won't hear me complain about it because it remains to be a robust tool at a reasonable cost. There are certain additional features that I hope they will add soon though. For example, it would be nice to have a device health reading tool as well as regular updates on its power. I've already asked the developers to consider adding these features, but I have yet to see their promises come to life.
The best monitoring platform in the market today!

PROS: Life before Auvik had dozens of blindspots. Now, we're able to provide vigilant and consistent monitoring for our network. I also love how the developers of this product are constantly introducing updates that allow us to work better with our clients and our team members. I believe that the service team deserves kudos as well. They are always so friendly, helpful, and attentive.
CONS: Setting up and making sure that devices are properly connected to the main network can be quite tricky. Expect lengthy configurations and constant revising of logins.
Allows us to troubleshoot issues right away.

PROS: Generating reports is a lot easier now with Auvik's comprehensive network mapping.
CONS: Notifications are quite selective. Right now, we don't get sent alerts for other platforms aside from windows and our infrastructure. We can't freely configure alerts too.

PROS: Auvik gives us a sweeping view of not just the devices that we manage, but also the network as a whole. Through it, we are able to identify problems as they occur and set about fixing them right away. Ever since we've started employing this tool, no major issue has slipped our watch.
CONS: The tool can be a bit expensive, and the prices of its add-ons can pile up if you're not too careful.
A really helpful tool for our team – I love Auvik!

PROS: It takes an exceptionally well-designed product to impress me, but Auvik has gone above and beyond my expectations. It takes on a user-centric approach and makes us feel valued as consumers.
CONS: The only downside that I can see is that I feel like we're not maximizing the use of this product. Of course, this problem has more to do with us than with the failure of the developers themselves.
Helps me to manage existing networks and even tap into new ones.

PROS: Tracing rogue devices within the network is no longer a problem, thanks to Auvik. It helps us identify and quickly address cracks within our network. Another feature that I like, in particular, is its auto-backup detail. Not only does this protect data in case of a power outage, but it also allows us to initiate communication as we take over the configuration of the system. Part of the quick response to issues is owed, in part, to Auvik's ability to allows us to secure wide area network connectivity. We've been able to monitor traffic in the network that has consequently helped us address specific device problems too.
CONS: No issues from our end. Auvik has truly been one of the best monitoring tools that we've worked with. However, if I were to rack my brain and identify a fault within the system, I can remember a time when Auvik has not been as top-notch in scanning voice networks. However, I see this as a minor glitch because I understand just how volatile voice networks can be.
Sends real-time alerts in the event of problems within the network.

Ease of Use
PROS: First of all, Auvik is a very straightforward platform to use - from tracking networks, drafting reports, all the way to client billing. It allows us to grant access to our team members and, so far, they have yet to complain about its usability. It makes putting together reports and other necessary data seem a lot less daunting as well. It makes documentation storage possible too. For example, we've been able to share our standard of operations and other routine tasks with new team members through this platform. On top of all of this, their customer support extends above and beyond what is expected of them too.
CONS: Only one: the network mapping. Right now, everything works OK, but there's still some room for improvement.
Allows us to take a deep dive into understanding our network better.

PROS: Auvik has given me an almost overwhelming (but in a good way) insight into the networks that my team and I manage. Device management used to be a daunting process for me, but the tool manages to simplify it for us. Plus, it instantly flags oversaturated links too, and this allows us to quickly fix these issues.
CONS: Because it is heavy on features and is an extremely robust tool, Auvik can be quite difficult to set up. However, once everything is in tiptop shape, one shouldn't have a problem running a tight ship when it comes to generating reports on the data that you manage.
The insight that it provides is unparalleled.

PROS: I like how Auvik gives me an unparalleled vista of all the networks that I manage. For one, it allows me to tap into multiple devices through a web management portal. This helps me oversee the necessary devices that I work with. Another reason that I love this platform is that, in the event of congested links, it notifies me in real-time so I can fix the issue right away.
CONS: Auvik has a wide range of tools that can assist every user - but it can be quite overwhelming. Getting to know the program takes up a lot of one's time, and this is precisely why onboarding recruits gets a bit too tedious. The saving grace to this, however, is that the Auvik team does help out as best that they can.
Straightforward, helpful, and powerful.

PROS: Getting alerts and quickly identifying which device in our network needs immediate attention is one of Auvik's main selling points. Not to mention, the product is supported by a team of competent and attentive people too. They are always open to feedback, and they address concerns in the best way that they can. Within the platform is a wealth of documents and training materials that users are free to peruse as well. With the way they receive input from clients and their responses to each, I'm excited to see what's in store for Auvik.
CONS: There isn't much that I don't like about Auvik. However, in terms of communication between devices in the network, I think this is one of Auvik's waterloo. Add a rather poor application management arrangement, and I worry that Solarwinds might easily surpass my favorite platform.
A valuable tool in my line of work!

PROS: First of all, setting up and organizing an intricate web of networks in Auvik is quick and easy. It makes monitoring and troubleshooting issue simple too.
CONS: As is expected, the bigger the network is, the more difficult it is to manage it. Auvik tends to lag a bit in bigger environments too. Of course, there's the possibility of chopping these up into sub-networks, but that just defeats the purpose of a sweeping and more comprehensive map. The notifications on Auvik can be quite buggy too. Sometimes they don't close properly and I have to double check that everything has been properly closed at the end of the day. We're still trying to look into this issue as it may be a simple error on our part. Aside from these minor issues, Auvik addresses our needs sufficiently.
