Centrify Review

PROS: We implemented Centrify for Unix so we can use Windows Active Direcoty. We managed to avoid multiple login accross various platform and to manage data secure permission with central control. We also use Privilege Service and Multifactor authentication so we can provide highest level of security to our partners and clients.

CONS: The team behind this platform solves every kind of issue, therefore, we don’t have something to dislike about it.

PROS: Centrify is great tool for ouyr business. As federal government agency we are required to use smart cards for authenitcation, before implementing this tool the process took lot of time to configure. Thankfully, now whole process is simplified and we are able to log in with our cards even into Linux. It saves us lot of time and allows us to use Group Policies and to manage Linux systems like we do with Windows OS.

CONS: I haven’t run into something that I might dislike about this tool.

PROS: At present, we've implemnted Centrify for Unix to effectively use the Windows Active Directory. This removed the need for logging in multiple times acorss platforms. It makes it a lot easier in managing data secure permission with an on-central control. We're considering a Multi-factor authentication in securing our clients and partner. We're thinking about using Privilege Service with it too.

CONS: At this point in time, everything seems to be going well. It was able to address just about any issue we faced.

PROS: The technology functions well with minimal effort from my part. It's really stable. A surprising part was the software installation and configuration didn't entail any schema changes to Active Directory. This is a positive image of Certify's ability in utilizing technology safely. At the same time, it keeps everything seamless.

CONS: Centrify has its share of issues. But you can't entirely blame them for everything. Certify was swift in offering different solutions or adding improvements to the product. This helped cater to our needs.

PROS: Centrify is a solution that we proudly value. As part of a government agency, we're tasked in utilizing smart cards for authentication purposes. Prior to Centrify, the process we had to undergo in order to get Linux systems to accept our smart card verification entailed lots of configurations. Centrify managed to change all that with an adjoin command which unites the Linux system to the Active Directory to get us to log in via a smart card.

CONS: In comparison to our previous solution, there's nothing to hate about Certify. It just works! Plain and simple.

PROS: I like that it allows me to install lot of cloud connectors and to connect to multiple hosts through SSH and RDP. We can connect to hosts remotely wuthout supporting VPN clients.

CONS: They could improve the remote access experience and they could add features where we can easily adjust the screen resolution and copy/paste.

PROS: I like that technology works great with little to no effort and I like that it is stable and reliable solution. In addition, the installation and configuration of the system doesn’t require any changes to Active Directory and this makes the usage of the system more safe and seamless. The other thing you should know about Centrify is that its Privileged Identity Management suite offers lot of functionality at affordable price. From the admin point of view, the system is very wizard driven and this means that lot of the set up and cnfiguration can be done through Wizard Set uo.

CONS: Whenever we run into some issues o misunderstandings, the team behind Centrify is quick to act and they resolve the issue in a timely manner. The system meets all our expectations, therefore, we don’t have dislikes about it.

PROS: Centrify is a leader in both Identify as Service and Privilege Identify Management. Even though the product is growinf faster it is still suitable for small businesses. In addition, this platorm has interesting view on privilege account access and others can log in with least privilege and they can we escalated when needed. And the other thing that I like within the centrify is that it offers fee-based support options in both standard and premium levels.

CONS: We combined both express and standard and we can convert everything over to standard as budgeting becomes available and the current version is still free.

PROS: I like its security system and simplicity. The UI is advanced and simple to use. And I’m glad that all our users managed to adapt the program quickly.

CONS: I haven’t found something to dislike.
