CorelDraw Review

PROS: We are in awe with Corel Draw. It is very easy to use once you’re familiar with all its features and we use it mainly to design logos and website layouts.

CONS: It doesn't have any huge issues aside from the rendering time of larger files.

PROS: Corel Draw gives us a lot of benefits. It has great compatibility with other software; it has a user-friendly interface; it is available both in Windows and Mac-OS; it contains a variety of design templates, and it allows us to easily edit vector images.

CONS: The main drawback of Corel Draw is its price. It is relatively pricy compared to other editing software. Furthermore, tutorials are needed to navigate and enjoy all its features fully.

PROS: CorelDraw is very easy to use compared to other designing software. It is great for beginners like me who still don't have much experience in graphic design.

CONS: I think Corel Draw should improve its layout. There are times when I find it hard to find a layer due to its relatively small layout.

PROS: It is a very useful tool. There are a lot of features that allow me to draw easily. It is good for sketching, photo editing, creating logos, etc.

CONS: There had been some issues in saving, but other than that I am very satisfied with Corel Draw.

PROS: I use Corel Draw to design logos and draw vectors. It made these tasks easier for me.

CONS: It has quite an unintuitive layout. I think its layout can do better.

PROS: What’s so great about Corel? I can think of a dozen reasons. For one, I can easily apply transparency to any layer in my draft. I love how I can customize the dimensions of my pixels too. This results in a more tailored design in terms of the final resolution. Applying gradient to text is not only possible, but it’s very easy to do too. Another cool feature is being able to export one object at a time from my work. And speaking of exporting, Corel manages to export even the largest file in just a matter of a few seconds too—and in just about any format to boot!

CONS: I’m sure a lot of users would agree with me when I say that Corel is a complicated tool. This means that one would have to set aside enough time just to learn its uses and every function in its toolbox. However, once you get to know it and its shortcut commands, you can expect a more smooth-sailing user experience.

PROS: I use Corel Draw every day as I am a graphic designer. All I could say is it is very convenient to accomplish my work using this software. I get more clients as I can finish quality projects ahead of deadlines.

CONS: It can be quite complicated to use if you are only a beginner, but once you've become familiar with its features, it becomes much easier.

PROS: I admit that I work better with 3D designs, rather than 2D. However, Corel makes the transition almost pain-free. It is surprisingly smooth to handle, and I’ve made more than satisfactory vectors using this. It’s not the most revolutionary tool, but it does give pretty good support.

CONS: I wouldn’t complain if their developers added more meat to their toolbox. Everything here is pretty basic—it would be nice to be equipped with a little more. The same applies to its color options.

PROS: Need to create vector designs? You won’t go wrong with Corel. It has a complete set of tools that can help you draw up accurate designs based on your numerical preferences. I love how it can directly import PDF and PSD formats, and be exported to Access and Excel. When I was just starting, its helpful hints served as a tutor for me too. I worked more confidently thanks to this feature. Some of my most used features are the sketching and carving tools.

CONS: Despite its helpful hints feature, Corel is still quite difficult to learn. You have to dedicate time and effort to fully understanding each tool.

PROS: Corel Draw is one of the pioneers in vector designs and it has never failed to satisfy my needs as a user. I am very pleased with most of their features especially their "Convert to curves" feature.

CONS: A monthly subscription package for a lower price will be greatly appreciated. Corel Draw is a bit pricy.

PROS: To this day, Corel remains to be the top design tool for professionals. I wouldn’t trade this with any other software. I particularly like its curve tool feature that gives me a lot of control in tracing objects in my design. I can also add a shadowy finish if I want to. This is both interactive and fun to work with.

CONS: Switching tools can be challenging. There’s a lag time that gets in the way of my productivity. Not to mention, the wait time can be awkward when a client is overseeing the design in real-time too.

PROS: What’s impressive about CorelDraw is that it is a complete design tool in itself. I use this for just about any design job—creating business cards and other graphical outputs. I love how it helps me come up with printer-ready designs too, with respect to RGB and CYMK combinations

CONS: It would be nice if Corel would introduce more format options to users.

PROS: Corel serves as one of the foundations of my design journey. It has earned its reputation as the top tool for designs, often sought out by professionals. As an observer, it’s been fascinating to see it grow and update its toolbox through the years. It has great support for creating vectors because of its nature.

CONS: Prepare to free up some space on your hard drive, because Corel can be quite hefty in this regard. You’d also need to work in pixels—that might take some time getting used to.

PROS: Intuitive interface, powerful engine, lots of options, ability to work with bigger scale.

CONS: Nothing, everything is just perfect.
