PROS: Google Places is a game-change for business because of its features that allows business to thrive and connect with customers. Having a business page in Google Places will improve your SEO. You can reach more customers through this app and provide them with all the necessary information they have to know about your business such as office hours and customer feedback. It also allows the customers to upload photos of your business and leave reviews.
CONS: Sometimes owners of inactive business don't take time to remove their business out of the system. This is a disadvantage for new business that will take over the location of the old business.

PROS: Google Places is well-rounded software and portal for various places of interests around the globe. It helps both businesses and customers to add and find information about a certain place -- say for example, a restaurant! It's really helpful when you're deciding on which place to go because of the reviews from customers. You can also respond to these reviews. It also updates real-time and immediately reflects any changes done in the business page, such as additional photos, promos, highlights, and special business hours. It also increases your business' visibility which is really helpful if you want to get more customers.

PROS: I completely trust this app because I know that similar apps just integrates Google Places in their system. As a programmer, the best part of this app is the Place Autocomplete API and the Query Autocomplete API which eases my search queries.
CONS: I encountered timeout errors a few times probably because of heavy user traffic.

PROS: I love how convenient and easy it is to create a verified business page using this product. After the whole process of signing up and verification, your business page automatically appears in Google Maps and in Google Search.
CONS: This app is great, but it's also a double-edged sword when it comes to business reviews. If someone leaves a bad review in your business page, there is no way to remove it even if it's not true.

PROS: This is another free app from Google which is a big help for us when we want to check out new places! This app allows us to see various places of interests and details about it such as ratings, contacts, schedule, photos, and reviews from customers.
