PROS: I love how everything is necessary for carrying out an entire software life testing cycle. What's more, you're given the option to customize things.
CONS: With so many things it can offer, I have a couple small things that need to be addressed. It tends to run slow from time to time. Sometimes, it would hang. But aside from these minor setbacks, I still love HP ALM for what it offers.

PROS: I simply how HP ALMP provides a wide range of integrated tools for testing. You can go anywhere from making test campaigns and test cycles to making business requirements specifications. Tools such as HP Sprinter record test scenarios have been a big help. Their SAP integration is flat out amazing --- from solution manager documentation to SAP ECC --- so many connectors at your disposal for use to and from HP ALM.
CONS: The tools offered have unlimited possibilities, that at times, you end up getting lost in them. I couldn't spot a guide explaining all options or things I need to carry out my tests in the right manner. There are certain features that needs enhancing. Certain things that should simply be copied and paste couldn't be done. You're asked to the same things over and over again. A lot concepts needed to be understood and that takes time.

PROS: The software allows me an easy access to app history, it has rich UI, and the reports can be customizable so it can meet my clients’ needs. Options for problem description works perfectly. The program is fast and it doesn’t take much time in loading the online platform. History and versioning control sections are very intuitive and helps you to do the work easier. I often use the defect tracking highlights for assigning tasks and sorting them easily.
CONS: I have experienced some issues with windows platform, generation of graphs needs some technical coding and support for this one is limited. They need to put more details for windows app. They need to improve the documentation part as well. Additionally, I have experienced some drawbacks when testing the app.

PROS: This tool can do just about anything for its software life cycle. It facilitates the mapping of test cases and requirements as well as tracking defects. All in all, the tool is very robust.
CONS: I gave this tool a two thumbs up for a number of reasons. But if there are a couple things that desparately needs improvement, it would be their dashboards. They could use some enhanced reporting and make it more intuitive.

PROS: HPE ALM allows end-to-end testing for both technical and non-technical users, without BPT.I love its powerful integration that provides you helpful report so you can have full picture of the status of each project at any time. You are even able to link output fields. The team behind this software really works for its improvements.
CONS: It would be really helpful if they could include more options for selecting test scenarios for running test sets. I think there are so much steps for some processes. I have experienced that BPT runs faster.

PROS: I like how it easily streamlines with varying modules. It's also very simple to use. I love its reporting aspects whether its from test cases to release-to-requirements to defects.
CONS: Its admin isn't as friendly compared to its competitors. Maybe it's better off to upgrade and adminster the tool by including a step-by-step process within the help menu as well as documentation for the admin.
HP ALM did me a lot of good since I discovered it. It assisted me in my project management. From requirements to deployment, it’s made things a whole lot easier.

CONS: In terms of information representation, it's relatively weak. The testing process takes a bit of time if you want to perfect it. Loading seemed to take forever before getting an invalid notification.

PROS: Its testers that can ling defects to test runs is excellent. Any changes in mandatory fields or status triggers an e-mail and sent autoamtically to the tester responsible for a certain project. Also, ALM is considered to be an excellent auditing tool.
CONS: It's an awesome tool but it has one small issue: the app takes a long while in the initialization process and a delay is noticeable when an incorrect password is made during signing in. Loading takes a long while before a notification is made regarding the wrong password entered.
An all-in-one package that entails a powerful PC and server to utilze it.

PROS: HP ALM is a quality tool that's both intuitive and robust. It has a lot of stuff needed for organizing the whole test manamgement process. Its integration isn't just limited to development tools that retains your requirements, but it also syncs entities and bugs with other systems.
CONS: HP ALM seems to be a bit pricy than its competitors. But on the flip side, HPE ALM has a licensing policy that aids in completely occupying an ALM license.

PROS: HP ALM offers so many tools for testing and the good thing is that they are all well integrated. You can start with creating test cycles and campaigns, you can choose your business requirements and then you can create test scenarios. You can even use HP Sprinter tool to record your test scenarios and you can use the script later for charging the tests. In addition, this tool provides great integration with SAP, starting from solution manager documentation to SAP ECC. You are even able to use its connections in order to transfer data from-and-to HP ALM.
CONS: The software has so many tools and it can be quite overwhelming when trying to figure them out. There is no simple user-guide that would help me to understand all options and features in order to execute tests in other ways. The program still needs some improvements. I have found out that I cannot simply copy-paste and it asks to do same tasks over again. It takes time to learn the program to its fullest, and if you want to use it 100% of it then you need some time to learn it.
