Insta HMS functions as a hospital and clinic information management solution that covers patient consultation, radiology laboratory services, inventory, health insurance, maintenance and contracts, diet and nutrition, linen and laundry, alert messages, and ambulance and transportation. Hence, the software is utilized to manage all the financial, operational, and clinical requirements and processes of hospitals and clinics. Finally, Insta HMS offers advanced HIPAA-compliant insurance management capabilities.

A noticeable feature of Insta HMS is its patient management feature. This feature facilitates patient consultation by providing a web-based visibility of patient’s diagnostics and medical records as well as the prescriptions and laboratory services recommended to patients. This automated feature enables consultants and doctors to see a list of patients in the queue. From this queue, they can pull up a patient consultation page consisting of different sections. Within these sections, they can view the patient’s history and add his or her chief complaints including allergies. There is also a section provided here to add medicines and further investigation.
Through this feature, doctors can print smart cards, bar codes, and plastic cards with the patient’s photos. The patient consultation and medical record and diagnostic details can also be printed with a digital signature. Streamlining outpatient management, this feature can produce satisfied and happy patients.
Another feature of Insta HMS is its pharmacy or store management. With this feature, users can automatically manage the return of inventory items such as consumables and surgical implants. Consumables for tests and services are also automatically accounted. The software also has the capability of creating an item master database. This item master shows the item categories, unit of measure, package type and package quantity. Thus, Insta HMS pharmacy management eliminates the occurrence of pilferage which is the reduction of stock or package content due to theft.
As a health and clinic management solution that facilitates the communication and operation between departments, Insta HMS offers an alert and messaging system that automatically notifies the respective doctors and the hospital administration when a patient is admitted. If a patient is discharged, the billing department also receives alerts. Furthermore, this alert and messaging system is extended to consultants through SMS reminders for their OP appointments and of course the patients themselves are also recipients of SMS alerts reminding them of their appointment. This feature enhances productivity among doctors, consultants and hospital and clinic personnel.
