Invoiced is a cloud-based, accounts receivable automation software that helps businesses automate collections and streamline payments. If you’re a boutique service firm with a recurring revenue business model or a startup with only a few employees in your billing department, Invoiced can be an excellent option to automate repetitive tasks so your accounting team can focus on more work-intensive financial processes. Mid-sized and large companies such as SaaS enterprises can also benefit from the platform’s customizable features fit for high volume billers who want to make monthly billing effortless. Specifically, billing managers or specialists can use the software to design billing schedules, such as installment payments and send pre-scheduled invoices by email or text messages.
Invoiced has a straightforward, user-friendly dashboard where users can access all the controls, menus, and customization tools they need to conduct accounts receivable operations. These include creating invoices, viewing customer payment history, and checking analytics reports like key AR metrics and fastest/slowest to pay customers. The platform is comprised of four interconnected modules designed to provide a seamless workflow for all your collections activities: Invoice-to-Cash, Payment Plans, Subscription Billing, and Customer Portal. The platform also makes it possible for your billing department to prepare estimates, volume-based pricing, set rollover rates, and present rates with discounts and promotions.
Aside from streamlining your internal billing operations, Invoiced can also increase your bottom line since it integrates with online payment systems and multiple payment channels, such as credit cards and debit cards. This means your customers can have more options for paying and can even set autopay for their recurring transactions. You can get paid faster while your customers can enjoy a modern, frictionless payment experience.
Invoiced integrates with popular accounting software like Xero and Quickbooks, so your team can have all the pertinent information they need to complete their tasks without switching apps. It also uses REST API, so you can create custom integrations on top of the software.
Show MoreEasier payment process
Using the software’s Invoice-to-Cash module, you can improve your cash flow by integrating quick and convenient online payment into your billing process. It’s Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment (EIPP) tool includes a wide range of options for simple and safe online transactions. Your customers can pay using a credit card, direct debit (including SEPA, ACH, Bacs, etc,) or online payments system such as PayPal.
Moreover, Invoiced’s automated invoice chasing and Dunning management features allow your billing department to make the payment process automatic and painless. No more manual phone call inquiries and awkward follow-ups. Not only do you save time on mundane tasks but you also decrease your time-to-cash.
A simpler way to manage recurring billing
If your company has a recurring revenue business model, Invoiced can help make managing subscription billing less complicated and time-consuming through its Subscription Billing module. Inside the module, you’ll be able to choose among different plans, such as standard, usage-based, or variable pricing. You can also further customize your subscription billing by adding in non-trivial renewal logic, such as coupons, prorations, trial periods, or custom payment terms.
On top of customizable subscription billing, you can also use Invoiced to create sign up pages. Here you can make it easy for your customers to opt-in or choose a specific subscription billing. This is also a great way to save customer information and payment details for future transactions.
You don’t have to second guess once you use Invoiced’s automated subscription billing. Built-in analytics and reports can immediately show you key metrics, such as MRR, churn, and LTV, which measure whether your subscription business is a success. Additionally, the platform has an automated credit card retry process, which means you don’t have to waste time and valuable human resources on your Dunning management.
Increase revenue with flexible payment plans
Not all customers will have the resources to pay in full for the products or services they need. Invoiced, through its Payment Plans module, lets you bill customers in incremental payments so that you can still have a convenient way to accommodate installment plans. This can be an excellent solution for doctors, dental clinics, legal services, or consultancy firms.
Installment plans, including payment schedules, can be customized per client. As a result, you can even offer more flexible terms by allowing your customers to break their outstanding balance into personalized installments.
When it comes to collecting scheduled payments, Invoiced can also do that automatically for you. Just connect your organization’s preferred online payments system or payment channel. If a payment fails or is rejected, Invoiced’s automated Dunning management feature will also handle the retry for you.
As for your customers, Invoiced’s Customer Portal makes it possible for them to manage their accounts. They can view current and past invoices, autopay plans, download receipts, and a lot more from right inside the platform’s easy-to-use interface.
Secure AR online platform
Cybersecurity should be a priority for businesses, especially for those who handle online payments and collect personal details from their customers. Invoiced uses HTTPS with TLS encryption for secure online communication and traffic. It’s also PCI-compliant and follows HIPAA guidelines. Your customers will feel safer and more confident in transacting with you on your digital platform, knowing that it is one that adheres to standard internet security protocols.
Show MoreBecause companies have specific business needs, it is only logical they steer clear of preferring an all-in-one, ”best” system. Be that as it may, it is futile to find such a software system even among recognizable software products. The logical thing to undertake can be to set down the varied key factors which need examination such as major features, costing, skill capability of the employees, organizational size, etc. Next, you must follow through your product research fully. Go over some Invoiced analyses and look over each of the software options in your list more closely. Such comprehensive product research guarantee you weed out unsuitable apps and pay for the system which meets all the aspects your company requires.

It is crucial to note that virtually no service in the Accounts Receivable Software category is going to be a perfect solution able to fulfill all the requirements of different business types, sizes and industries. It may be a good idea to read a few Invoiced Accounts Receivable Software reviews first as specific services can dominate exclusively in a really small group of applications or be designed with a really specific industry in mind. Others may work with a goal of being simple and intuitive and as a result lack advanced functions desired by more experienced users. You can also find apps that focus on a broad group of users and offer a powerful feature toolbox, but this in most cases comes at a higher price of such a service. Make sure you're aware of your requirements so that you pick a service that has exactly the elements you search for.

CONS: The plan packages are a bit expensive. I wish they could also include some of the premium packages on the basic packages.

PROS: What I really love about the application is how useful it is. As a freelancer, I used to use different software for invoicing and I was a mess and after paying a large amount of money I get to only use some of its features because the other features are not suitable to my line of work. With Invoiced, I only get to pay about $10 per month and I am using it according to my needs. My favorite features are 1. The dashboard--I can see at a glance how much money I am making and how much money I am going to make (future invoices about to be due). 2. Notifications when a client viewed an invoice--I get to call them up and check on them if everything's alright. 3. Autopay--automatic payments make collections a lot easier, and I get to integrate my Stripe account here, too.
CONS: Just wish there is a mobile app.

PROS: Invoice has all the features I am expecting an invoicing tool should have. And when I think the app is lacking on a feature and I contact them, their support replies in a few hours and gives me links and/or instructions on where to find it in the app. Great tool from invoicing to collecting. Can never ask for more.
CONS: Duplicating an invoice duplicated the date as well.

PROS: I have been using the application for over three years now and since then Invoiced has been delivering a seamless experience on billing, collecting, and interacting with clients at a fair price.
CONS: They changed their plan offerings and "downgraded" to a solo plan. I was originally enrolled in a plan with a client portal feature but because of the change and me being unwilling to pay more, I lost that feature. Well, I am still a happy customer despite that.

PROS: I have a very small business and I am enjoying the perks of using Invoice. What I particularly love is the reduced workload of making invoices for my clients automatically. And if need be, we can also get to print/give copies of past invoices. Clients get to be reminded of their dues and they can also process their payments using the app.
CONS: It costs money. I was using the app for free before and get to use premium recently but the price is definitely worth it.

PROS: Invoiced is a powerful tool for my invoicing needs. Doing invoices is not the most likable activity in running a business which means I procrastinate on doing it until the deadline approaches so I get too many backlogs of invoicing which makes payments running slowly. With Invoiced I get to leave the task of invoicing to the power of technology and get amazing results. We get to distribute invoices on time, remind customers of their due date, collect them on time, "chase" those who do not pay and manage their payment activities and payment arrangements easier.
CONS: I am wishing for a mobile version of this application.

PROS: The app does what it promises. It sends invoices to my clients, notifies them about their due dates, processes their payments, issue receipts. All of it while maintaining my branding. I get to see reports on the dashboard on how we are doing and get ahead of our status.
CONS: Payment methods need to be changed/updated every time.

PROS: What I really love about the app is its reports. I can immediately see what needs attention about collection details and through that get to deal with them immediately. Summarizes the collection status of our company immediately.
CONS: Sending email receipts is a good thing but I wish there is a feature on the app where clients can see the details of their invoice and make the messaging features more prominent so that customers would prefer to use it instead of replying to the email.

PROS: Invoice helps a small company like mine with how we manage our financing and accounting needs. Our bookkeeper is also in charge of accounting and billing so it is nice to have a one-stop-shop for everything she needs. It is also simple enough to be able to immediately use and get used to upon installation.
CONS: I find the application more flexible than QuickBooks, however, for my accountant/bookkeeper it is easier to use QuickBooks when generating reports. This is a nice application however to enjoy it completely as a one-stop-shop you will have to pay a hefty price.

PROS: Automation at its finest! From invoicing to collections, we get to do it automatically. Customers can enroll in autopay and they can input their debit/credit card numbers using them. If there are problems with making payment on time, we can schedule a payment plan fit for the customers' needs.
CONS: The app is so extensive that it can be confusing sometimes but thanks to their manual we are surviving. Setting up email notifications is a pain in the butt.
