Precisely MapInfo Pro Review

PROS: It's good for what I need because it's easy to use, fuss-free, and customer support is helpful.

CONS: Being flexible with other tools like ArcGIS would make it even better.

PROS: We've been frequent users for years, so we like the constant updates that suit our ever-evolving requirements.

CONS: I'm pleased that any glitch is quickly addressed by the support team.

PROS: I've been using MapInfo for about two decades now. I've been loyal to the product because it's time-efficient in terms of special features when working on maps.

CONS: Being able to define x2 and y2, instead of the frame width and depth would be helpful. There's no school like the old school.

PROS: Geoprocessing and spatial analysis made easy because of MapInfo Pro. It's also able to handle big data without any system lags.

CONS: Additional color palettes for raster data sets can save us plenty of time.

PROS: It's good for quick map creation, editing, and automation, plus analysis of associated data. It's reliable and the community support is tops!

CONS: Looking forward to an upgraded/updated MapBasic!

PROS: Its GIS is excellent, user-friendly and features many functionalities for more accurate locations

CONS: I hope to be able to easily translate between MapInfo and other GIS platforms

PROS: I love how I'm able to easily navigate through a user-friendy program, without fail, for the past few years.

CONS: The tech support and notification pop-ups could be better.

PROS: It's simple to use and yet allows me to do a lot more for my planning network and file exporting needs.

CONS: I'd like to be able to export multiple layers in the future.

PROS: I like that a quick and easy-to-use MapInfo was my breakthrough in programming.

CONS: I look forward to being able to use UTF8 and mixed letters in future updates.

PROS: I like that I'm able to create and share a 3D database and thematic maps for historic land ownership deals.

CONS: I wish the free version can also provide enough tools for one-off use.

PROS: Faster version, especially when rasterizing files.

CONS: I'm a fan of the 64-bit edition, so none.

PROS: It's so easy to use even for those using a GIS program for the first time.

CONS: Integrating support for third-party systems that we also use would be great.

PROS: I like that several MapInfo Pro functionalities make me finish what I need to do much more quickly.

CONS: I could do without the quirky layout and more of the essential features.

PROS: It's easy to familiarize yourself with the system, even for those who are using it for the first time. Data from any external source is export- and import ready.

CONS: I hope it will be much easier to transfer MapInfo licenses from one computer to another.
