MozyPro Review

PROS: Mozy is amazingly user-friendly and really works fast on backing up your data, a crucial capability when your computer is about to crash.

CONS: I haven't encountered issues that totally turned me off.

PROS: Mozy automates the backup and allows you to schedule the activity in just a few clicks. I love that this platform is workable in both Windows and Mac.

CONS: I hope developers could consider offering more storage to users.

PROS: Mozy's interface was an irresistible feature. I think anyone's a sucker for simple and user-friendly tools. Its protection environment also gives me the assurance that my data is safe from beginning to the end of the backup process.

CONS: The small space to save files is my chief complaint.

PROS: Mozy is very intuitive to use that it doesn't take a steep learning curve for a new user to be able to master it. It guarantees safety for all the data it handles not only from hacks but other unexplainable disastrous incidents like when that time my phone, on its own, was about to reformat. This emergency backup feature is definitely a must for any business storing important data.

CONS: The only downside for me is that its storage space. It's too small!

PROS: Mozy is the most reliable backup platform that guarantees you don't lose a single file when backing up. Operating it is also simple. Most importantly, its systems are secure, keeping any breaches at bay.

CONS: The backing up, especially the scheduling, an be a bit tedious of a process. But if that's not fixable, I'm okay with it as long as it increases storage size.

PROS: Mozy must be everyone's go-to backup platform as it is extremely to use. It's extremely secure so that gives me invaluable peace of mind. Another plus is that it is open-source, so we can modify it to fit clients' individual needs. In all, I'm really happy with this purchase.

CONS: The biggest downside is it has a relatively small storage space. Its process can also be streamlined further.

PROS: Because it is extremely user-friendly, Mozy can be mastered in a few hours, especially for tech-savvy people. Aside from its simplicity, another thing I like best about it is it notifies when there is potential harm on the device thus prompts you to backup.

CONS: It needs to hike its storage space.

PROS: It is fast and systematized. If we talk about functions then even Google Drive and Dropbox can be used. The fact that it creates backup of all office’s data twice a day is what gives it the advantage over them.

CONS: Apart from the charges that add up when you lose data, the capacity charge makes the overall cost high. Mozy can only do automatic backup whereas Dropbox can also be used as working folder too.

PROS: The thing I like is the cloud backup solutions included in Mozy. The reason is that these solutions prevent the backups from getting stored as data in just one physical place. The users who use backup with separate computer systems or external hard drives are always under the fear of losing the data to disastrous physical events like fire accidents. But this is not so with Mozy. The features have also been improved throughout years of and now the data can easily be accessed through mobile devices or the internet. Also, an addition has been made to use the personal encryption keys which are quite necessary for the solutions of cloud backup.

CONS: The upload speed had been paced down by Mozy up to 1-2 MBPS that too along with an OC-3 connection. This problem might have been fixed now but it was the main cause for me to quit. Also, the unlimited subscriptions by Mozy had been replaced by levels of pricing. For the users who have a huge quantity of data, Mozy can prove out to be very costly particularly when compared to the similar systems like CrashPlan which still comes with an unlimited backup plan.

PROS: The simplicity with which we can use it is the best part as anybody can configure or do restoration in it without having any technical background. The most useful part is the mounted drive present in the local machine.

CONS: It may be a time consuming process of retrieving your drives during restoration when the machine crashes.
