ONESOURCE Review

PROS: Being able to automate the management of documents for auditing because everything's been streamlined allows us to be ready for spot checks.

CONS: It would be great for it to cater to smaller groups too. Right now, it might be a better fit for middle- or larger-sized companies.

PROS: ONESOURCE enabled us to become a more efficient company. Its user-friendly platform helped us automate and streamline our processes across departments.

CONS: None so far.

PROS: With ONESOURCE, we were able to consolidate our transactions to make it compliant to global tax requirements.

CONS: We wish there's a free trial and the price point is more friendly.

PROS: It's so easy to use ONESOURCE and I have seen it develop over more than 10 years.

CONS: Newbies can benefit from a less clunky UI.

PROS: I've been using OneSource for several years and can easily navigate through the software.

CONS: Improved support -- perhaps an increase in support agents -- during peak times would be helpful to avoid long waits for urgent items.

PROS: This software has the most accurate and updated tax rate data. It's very reliable, reasonably fast, with good reporting that is easy to schedule and download as PDF or CSV. Integrating ONESOURCE with our e-commerce and mobile platforms was seamless.

CONS: Web-based services can do with more fixes so it's less clunky and it would be easier to integrate with our custom CRM system.

PROS: Because it's so easy to use, I can easily integrate ONESOURCE compared to other tax programs and quickly roll out error fixes.

CONS: Hoping we can avoid software lags or crashes in the future.

PROS: This software is dependable on the tax forms I need.

CONS: There is always room for improvement. On my wishlist: an FAQ space, more helpful support staff, more accurate integrated calculator.

PROS: ONESOURCE is exactly what I need in terms of allowing accounts to accomplish tax returns correctly, without any hassle.

CONS: The lag happening during peak times can be improved.

PROS: This tool makes tax compliance seem like a breeze. Thanks to it, we can make sure that we adhere to global tax policies and requirements. It's a truly complete and brilliant program.

CONS: So far, everything works fine for us. Sure it can be quite costly, but the benefits pay for themselves.

PROS: I'm a fairly new Onesource user, and so far everything works great. Unlike its competitors, ProSystem and Corp Tax, it is user-friendly and is easy to learn. I've successfully identified some potentially damaging errors and have remedied them without any problem--this is all thanks to Onesource.

CONS: There are times when Onesource would get too clunky and eventually freeze or crash. Needless to say, this can be quite frustrating.

PROS: Onesource helps me keep all of our tax files in order. Through it, we've been able to make sure that our files are complete and accounted for.

CONS: We are a fairly small business, and in most areas, it shows that Onesource caters better to bigger companies.

PROS: One of the things that I love about OneSource is that they always strive to keep themselves updated on the latest policies and requirements on tax sales and compliance. As should be the case for programs that handle delicate matters such as tax, I know that I can trust OneSource to help me generate the data that I need. The reports, so far, have been insightful and accurate. It also pays to trust a solution such as this because then I don't have to waste my time re-checking after every computation. With OneSource, I rest assured that our taxes are in good hands. I'm glad that OneSource continues to add more features into its plethora of tools. The introduction of APIs, for example, has eradicated our need to use different software to handle this.

CONS: Probably the only limitation that OneSource has is that it is based on Simple Object Access Protocol web services. As is the nature of these protocols, these can take some time to load. It would be nice to have a more robust and speedy messaging protocol. Integrations are not as smooth too.

PROS: I've had the pleasure of seeing Onesource grow and become this robust tool that I know today. I've been using it for more than a decade and this has easily become my go-to tool for all things related to taxes.

CONS: I understand that this program needs some adjustments. But trust me, if you stick with it, you will soon reap the benefits. Admittedly, it does have its bugs that cause delay though.

PROS: Onesource is a purveyor of all things tax-related. Ever since we implemented this into our workflow, it has cleaned up our data accounting and inter-departmental communication strategy. Thanks to it, we've finally bid goodbye to tedious tax computation processes too. It is an accurate assistant, and I'm glad that we have it on our team.

CONS: I still have to learn its ins and outs, but so far, I'm loving everything about Onesource.
