PROS: Retrieving files that summarize the medical history of our patients is now a lot easier with this tool supporting us. We can also see the physician and the nurse in charge of him/her through the notes section. Said section can detail the treatments that the patient has received, making hand-off run more smoothly.

CONS: I do hope that the program can add functionality that can predict a patient’s treatment plan based on the data previously loaded into the system. This will help us work more efficiently. This doesn’t have to be a major overhaul in the system too--even just suggestions on the dosage that should be taken in can be helpful.

PROS: This tool has made it easy for us to transition to a paperless environment. Even our staff love just how easy to navigate this program is-- it's simple and the command buttons do not give room for ambiguity. We can also set different user roles within our account.

CONS: I think that chartings can still be improved so they can give us better insight into our patients’ needs.

PROS: There is virtually no learning curve here--one can easily use it without training. I particularly love how it gives a pretty accurate summary of all medical files so that physicians know what they are dealing with just a quick glance.

CONS: Nothing. This is a really impressive ERH solution and I absolutely love it!

PROS: I love how this program allows us to create templates that our staff can easily fill in during their rounds. This has positively affected our productivity on so many levels.

CONS: I wish that the program would do a quick QA sweep to check for typos. Even just a simple one would suffice--we just want to eradicate spelling errors, more than anything.

PROS: I had Core EHR up and running in no time. Right off the bat, I didn’t have a hard time--at all--in trying to understand its functions. Navigating the dashboard just comes easy. I think I might even say that out of all the EHR programs that I’ve used in my long career as a health caregiver, this one is my favorite.

CONS: I don’t think I have any suggestions on how CORE EHR can be improved. This tool is already good enough as it is.

PROS: I really love just how user-friendly this tool is. Even a complete beginner can navigate this tool without much of a problem.

CONS: I really wish that they would just consolidate all of the apps inside the program, instead of making us access them externally.

PROS: First of all, I would like to note here how much I love the simplicity of this tool’s design. It’s really easy to get to know as well. If you put in the effort, you can be an expert in handling it in just a matter of a few hours. I really like how there are certain roles that can be assigned to each user too so they can focus on a particular task better.

CONS: I can imagine that this program can be quite hefty in size--thus causing our computers to crash whenever we run it. This might be solved with more robust PCs though, so we’ll look into upgrading our devices first.

PROS: I like how this program seems to walk you through your tasks with its constant cues on how you can proceed. It also has a feature where you can easily launch your tool of choice from a dropdown list.

CONS: The dashboard isn’t customizable. It would be nice to be able to load it up with all of my frequently used tools.

PROS: This is, by far, the easiest EHR tool to learn. Even a complete beginner can easily navigate it without prior training.

CONS: I don’t always see the point of some of the reports.

PROS: This tool is every nurse’s best friend because it helps us in one of our major (yet dreaded) activities: charting. But with Core, this task has become much more manageable. Retrieving information is no longer a daunting task too.

CONS: I don’t know if the program itself is to be blamed for this, but I have consistently noted that the processing is quite slow. There are days when Core won’t even open. However, I think this has more to do with our faulty internet connection more than anything. There are just too many people accessing it at all times.

PROS: First of all, I really like how this program was designed--simple and clean. The developers are always looking for features to add and improve on too, which is always great.

CONS: I don’t like how I have to exit the program--and open an external app--just to access some of the features. I’m talking about the QA process of our data in particular here.

PROS: What I love best about this program is its no-nonsense configuration. One can easily learn it and use it too.

CONS: You can’t change the charting templates too much. Even then, there are not a lot of templates you can choose from in the first place.

PROS: This had been particularly easy software to launch. We had it up and running in no time, without the need to tap into our already busy IT personnel to help us out. Because it is an online-based program, we did not need much external support in getting it started. Even the upkeep can be done within the department too.

CONS: I do wish the system itself would boot up and run faster. There are some tasks that are time-dependent and we need the program to keep up with our pace. Naturally, there are times when the internet connection would, indeed, be uncooperative. However, we suspect that the program itself can be clunky too. We just don’t like it when we call for customer support and their go-to reason would be that our internet connection is slow.

PROS: Navigating this tool is just as easy as 1-2-3. It’s really easy to use, to learn, and to implement within your workspace.

CONS: It would be nice to have the apps built in with the program itself. Right now, these are still external solutions.
