TapChief’s business dashboard is a central place from where you can monitor and manage the progress of all the projects you have posted. The view is similar to a Kanban board; each project is turned into a card and is sorted under categories — active, open, draft, and completed.

As the card moves from one category to another, the fields, the CTA, and the notifications change accordingly. Every time you post a project on TapChief, a hiring funnel will be created automatically. The funnel dashboard helps you view and edit project details and get an overview of the latest updates.

Meanwhile, there are menus where you can view and manage candidates at different stages of the funnel — applicants (shortlisted, invited, or archived), contacted and hired. You can perform a variety of actions here — add notes, shortlist, hire or archive freelancers, chat with them, view proposals, send assignments, schedule meetings, do audio and video calls.

When working with freelancers, you must create a substantial scope of work. It ensures that both businesses and freelancers are on the same page. TapChief streamlines the creation of Scope of Work with its ‘Contracts’ feature.

You can define the final scope of the engagement and send it across to a freelancer you’ve shortlisted. You can attach text, files, billing cycles, deposit an amount and set the project milestones and timelines on a TapChief Contract. Contracts on TapChief aim to empower the users and reduce turn-around-times, operation overheard and miscommunication.
