PROS: WizIQ has a terrific online classroom or learning platform, which enables the teacher to present videos and power point presentations, along with uploaded pictures, maps, and a drawing board, and teacher and student can see each other by camera and work one on one. Other great features are the bookkeeping system for teacher-emails are automatically sent to students when an online class is created or scheduled. An automatic record of whether or not a student was contacted is kept. Recording of classes are archived, so teachers can revisit these classes. This is also helpful for administration evaluating a teacher.

CONS: Occasionally the video would freeze during class in the past, but this was probably taken care of with upgrades to the system. The inconvenience of the video freezing was sometimes frustrating for students.

PROS: This is very difficult to talk about, given our negative experience... perhaps the convincing salespeople.

CONS: We are a small teaching service who was looking for a LMS that could support remote teachers giving classes to students in Brazil. During an initial trial of the online classroom with a WizIQ salesperson and two of our team members, we experienced some slow audio/video but were assured that when we upgraded our internet speed in Brazil (as we already planned to do), then the problems would cease. Perhaps misguidedly, we went ahead and purchased one year of Premium membership+Online Academy—aka, $1,600. This is when our bigger problems began. After multiple tests with our team members, we could never make the WizIQ platform work when more than 4 students were logged on. Our lead teacher also noticed that (even after emailing multiple times asking for assistance) her account was always listed as ’Trial’ and not ‘Premium’. When we never received clear information about the Trial/Premium confusion, and when it became clear that the software simply COULD NOT support more than 4 students, we knew this platform would not allow us to offer high quality classes…especially since our enrollment was growing quickly. The process to close the account and request a refund was painful. A month and a half of email tag—where our team would say “please close our account and refund us” and the WizIQ team would send a stock response of “please let us do another technical troubleshooting session” took far too much of our team’s most precious resource: Time. Last night the problems came to a head when, after one WizIQ employee told us we would receive a refund, another told us that the breakdown in communication had happened inside our own team and that WizIQ was not at fault. Regardless of how big or small the customer’s organization is, it is the job of WizIQ to dig into issues and discover problems to ensure customer satisfaction. To us, it felt like WizIQ made a huge effort to seem like they were helping…while in reality nothing ever got resolved and we were left with the same questions that made us frustrated with WizIQ in the first place. Now we are so exhausted that even the refund doesn’t feel worth any additional contact with WizIQ. We are posting this review as a matter of public interest, in the hope that another young company does not encounter the same problems with WizIQ that we did.

PROS: We were doing a lot of research on virtual platforms. But nothing in the market is as convenient as that of WizIQ. I've been using WizIQ for several years not. I consider it to be the greatest video/voice medium online for interaction.

CONS: I hate how support isn't always around for help right away. At times, we experienced some weird issues with "breaking" voice calls. From time to time, a student won't see which content is being presented while other students can see them without any problems. On things like this, we highly expected support to be around right away to help our classes run smoothly.

PROS: It just helps me spread materials for numerous students to attend the lectures they've chosen. I record and upload my own videos (both zipped and mp4), I attach ppt/pdf files, and I make use of their amazing database. Their courses cover an incredible number of subjects, and the quality of their instructors is incomparable.

CONS: Their fee is not exactly budget friendly, but this shouldn't keep you away from trying their trial package (lasts one month, and you're not obliged to upgrade). In terms of functionality, I would only suggest more shortcusts, pointer keys, for instance.

PROS: I like the fact that I have my own virtual classroom, and I get to keep and download records from every class. It is also good to know there is a 24/7 support team to stand behind you, even when you need assistance with the creation of your courses.

CONS: I've never felt more connected, so I have nothing to grumble about.

PROS: I've been using WizIQ for a few years. While I'm not part in the same field as I was before, I like using it. One of its memorable standouts is its UI experience. It's really one of the top LMS platforms in the market right now.

CONS: The lone donwside with WizIq was its lack of impromptu support. It's more of a read-it-on-your-own-and-figure-it-out kinda thing. Sometimes they won't even give us a hand on what caused a certain issue. Not even pointing us to what needs to be fixed.

PROS: The greatest thing with this is being able to record videos. Videos can be zipped if needed. They're also available in mp4 format. Being able to upload PDFs and PPT, it's helpful in getting documents edited in real-time.

CONS: My dislike with this is its usage fee. It's a little bit high for me. While a trial period is available, you can gauge its effectiveness for a month (free of charge). Then you'll need to pay for the rest.

PROS: All functionality for live streaming are bundled in one platform. These include past class recordings, media player, class tools, group chats, breakout rooms, and online screen sharing. It contains essential functionality. Navigating it is easy.

CONS: When it comes to updates, Wiziq is rarely mentioned. At times, the update would happen in the middle of nowhere in session launching. This can lead to a schedule delay. Updating should be done manually.

PROS: It's flexible. I get to make and launch online courses in a short period of time. I can even build the quality of the course as I go. It's a fantastic way for me to respond right back to the course and student needs immediately.

CONS: Review feedbak on an assingment is only limited to just 250 characters. When it comes to a major program/course in education, assignment feedback is essential. It needs to be a bit extensive and should be done on the go. 250 characters is way too small to be leaving a comprehensive feedback.

PROS: WizIQ webRTC based Virtual Classroom has helped me to conduct live classes easily and efficiently. Course management system has helped me build comprehensive courses with activities such as tests, quiz and polls) for my students. The E-commerce feature has helped me sell my courses easily.

CONS: This is a 360-degree platform with almost all the tools one needs to teach online, but I would like to get some more features in class-based reports and e-commerce
